The Sandbox Council is established under the Financial Regulatory Commission of Mongolia to make decisions on testing innovative financial services in the sandbox environment as well as to make recommendations on necessary regulations and guidelines regarding the market entry of new fintech products. The Council has 7 members, consisting of representatives from the Bank of Mongolia, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Digital Development and Communications, as well as Business school director of the National University of Mongolia, and President of the University of Finance and Economics.

Main duties of our team are to receive the applications from fintech companies, analyze and conduct research on their proposed innovative products, and select the fintech companies and innovative products which are capable to be tested in sandbox environment. As well as, we also supervise the sandbox participants through the whole process of experiment, consult with them about the market regulation, and work together with other policymakers to create the regulatory environment for the new financial products and innovations.

- Responsible for coordinating research and policy areas within the institution, conducting financial market and macroeconomic related researches, analysing market outlook, and financial institutions performances; - Worked as a manager in policy projects to develop Regulatory Sandbox Framework, Financial Inclusion Strategy of Mongolia, and Financial Market part of Vision 2050: Long term Growth plan of Mongolia;- Launched the “Inclusive Finance” monthly magazine with my colleagues; worked as an editor and a writer; published articles related to the green finance, financial inclusion, and fintech;

- Responsible for conducting financial market and macroeconomic related researches, analyzing market outlook, and financial institutions performances;- Initiated and renewed financial market outlook report, and annual report of theFRC;- Introduced financial performance assessment methodology of regulated agencies;- Conducted Money Laundering Risk Assessment of the non-banking financial market;

- Responsible for conducting market research, and outlook reports in non-banking financial institutions sector;

-Responsible for representing the FRC for the Council, and coordinating the policy works among the member institutions;-Participated in policy developing projects, reported the FRC’s implementation progress of the main policy goals of Mongolia, and prepared non-banking financial market of Mongolia part in “Financial Stability Quarterly Report”;

-Responsible for representing Mongolia for the working group, and reporting financial inclusion work progress of Mongolia;-Implemented “Financial Inclusion Survey in Mongolia” project financed by the AFI;-Participated in project to develop financial inclusion indicators, and introduced the indicators in quarterly reports of financial market of Mongolia;

Responsible for conducting market research for exporting agricultural products.
