In this role I led a team of Property & Casualty Underwriters in the National Underwriting Centre working on both primary and excess business across all broker segments. This involved supporting the team with technical referrals, ensuring compliance with underwriting authority and achieving production targets set by the business. I was accountable for a number of existing key relationships and strategic deals whilst also working to identify new opportunities. I worked closely with colleagues in the Sales and Distribution teams and also the regional branches to ensure that brokers experience a consistent service from Chubb. I was also a member of the Information and Consultation Committee which involves consulting with employees around any key changes or proposals to the business.
