I am here to make the world a better place. ↓↓↓ Here's my story ↓↓↓ 1) The traditional route is not for everyone. I was valedictorian at my high school & I had a full ride to a private school. I dropped out a semester in with a 4.0 because I was miserable...don't hear that everyday. I got an "online" degree and wear it like a badge of honor. Go CSU Eagles! (You get a different mascot when you go to school online) 2) My resume is all over the place, and I am a better person for it! When I dropped out of school, I came home to work with my, now Wife, in her family business. We sold pretzels all day long & I learned more than I ever could sitting in a formal University. When I got sick of the family business (because, who wouldn't), I moved on to a corporate job as a General Manager at Einstein's. Great place to work...apparently the bakery business really called to me! 3) Sometimes we stumble into careers. When I completed my online degree (Once again...go Eagles!), I went job searching & soul searching on LinkedIn. I stumbled upon a badass company selling Eco-friendly packaging. I never thought I'd be here, but here I am & I love every day of it! 4) I LOVE sales, but I NEVER want to sell you anything. I believe that I am a problem solver. I believe in the products we offer & believe that they can help solve complex business problems you may be experiencing. If we can't solve your problems, then I want to help find someone who can...I mean it! 5) I believe that every moment of personal growth I have had outside of work, has brought me tremendous professional prosperity. The growth in my 5-9 helps me bring a better attitude to the table for my 9-5. 6) I believe that doing HARD things makes us better humans. Catch me running ultra marathons, Ironmans, and crazy challenges like running 26 miles in 26 hour (1 mile at the top of each hour). Pushing myself to be uncomfortable frequently has taught me how to persevere & to only focus on the next step when things get challenging. In those situations, the only step that matters is the next. 7) Ask me about my family. My wife makes me a better person. If you do ask me if I have kids / want kids, I will look you dead in the eye & tell you I have two beautiful boys. Elliot is our eldest. He's a 100 lbs Golden Doodle that thrives off human interactions. Our youngest is Jack; he's a Cattle Dog that runs crazy miles with me & I am still trying to tire him out.
