I aim to help companies and communities to harness their intellectual property assets in order to financially benefit from them. I am the Co-founder and Managing Director of Palm Consult PTY Ltd, a boutique IP consultancy based in Gaborone. We specialise in IP training; IP advisory; economic and management consulting. Palm Consult is currently focused on intellectual property training. The company is awaiting accreditation from Botswana Qualifications Authority.I am currently contracted by WIPO as Project Expert for Chobe Baskets Branding project in Botswana. I am also currently engaged as the Intellectual Property Expert for the development of the Botswana National Strategy for the Creative Industries by Motlabaseyo/Motaki JV. I was previously the Copyright Expert for the Study on the Economic Contribution of the Copyright Based Industries, carried out by Botswana Institute for Development Policy Analysis. I have consulted for WIPO as National IP Consultant for the Development of Botswana Intellectual Property Policy and Strategy. I have also consulted for WIPO as an International Copyright Consultant for the Revision of the Republic of Liberia Intellectual Property Development Plan. In the Kingdom of Eswatini I was contracted by WIPO as International Consultant for the IP Needs Assessment focusing on copyright and traditional knowledge. I was also instrumental in the restructuring of the IP Office of the Kingdom.I also serve as the National Intangible Cultural Heritage Expert for Botswana. Through this position, I advise the government on the implementation of the 2003 Convention for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage. As the Lead Consultant, I have successfully helped the country inscribe three intangible cultural heritage elements to UNESCO's List of ICH in Need of Urgent Safeguarding.
