Through visual art, public policy intervention, and education, she challenges systemic barriers. Her notable works include “My Armenian Heart”, part of the Armenian Museum of America’s collection, “Armas para el Pueblo”, exhibited at the Dominican Resistance Memorial Museum, and “EnSeña”, a 2022 series highlighting the resilience of the Dominican Deaf community.

Since 2013, Batlle has pioneered the use of music and SubPac technology for people with disabilities, leading to her collaboration with Coldplay on their first inclusive global tour in 2022 and later with artists like Bad Bunny and Rosalía. Featured in notable publications such as The New York Times, Forbes, and El País, she has presented her work at Yale, NYU, and Columbia and is a Harvard Project Zero Fellow.

Batlle initiated Santo Domingo’s Department of Inclusion, a model now being adopted nationwide, and played a key role in making the Dominican Republic’s 2024 elections its most accessible in history. Her efforts have been recognized by organizations like the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights and the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung, which published her guide for inclusive governance in 2024. 

In 2023, she represented Santo Domingo at the UN General Assembly, where her initiatives helped the city become the first in the Caribbean to sign the Global Pact for Accessibility. 
In 2024, Batlle was honored as the first Dominican invited to address the Nobel Peace Laureates Global Summit. She was appointed to the Honor and Justice Council of the Gandhi Mandela Foundation, led by Nobel Peace Laureate Rigoberta Menchú Tum.She is currently creating essays and artwork that explore the concept of marginalized bodies.
