About Batool Idrish Siamwala

I have been working on improving proficiency levels in English Language with various age groups both in my professional space and as a volunteer. I was involved in teaching Postcolonial Literature,especially Australian, Canadian, African, South East Asian and Caribbean until just a year ago. By and large, these literatures offer a wide range of narratives. Narratives, in that they are linked to memory, and create discourses that impact our daily lives, are of special interest to me. The other areas that are of interest are Gender studies, Partition Literature, Subaltern studies, Culture Studies, the Impact of Globalisation on Literature, using Media to inscribe on the Body.My current areas of interest are the role of Myths,female centric literature.
