In my role as Program Director I had the unique opportunity to manage events, programming and communications for the Minnesota Newspaper Association (MNA). MNA and and its nonprofit the Minnesota News Media Institute host regular training workshops, led by industry experts on a variety of subjects, the annual Editors & Publishers Community Leadership.

I served as co-chair and member of a 12-woman advisory board that coordinates the Leaders of Today and Tomorrow Program (LOTT). I continue to volunteer as as a guest speaker and mentor to the program, as needed.The LOTT Fellows Program challenges college-aged and emerging professional women to see their role in furthering women's leadership in all sectors.
