Bradley D. Baugh was a founding partner of NORTH WEBER & BAUGH LLP, where he specializes in intellectual property (IP) law, with an emphasis in patent law.Mr. Baugh has prosecuted patent applications dealing with machine learning, software, image processing, networking, cryptography, and various types of mechanical devices. Mr. Baugh has also been involved in other transactional aspects of IP law, including negotiating and drafting IP license agreements. Mr. Baugh also participates in the evaluation of intangible assets for litigation, licensing, tax, and acquisition purposes. Mr. Baugh received his undergraduate education at Brigham Young University, graduating with a B.S. in Engineering, with minors in Mathematics and Philosophy. Mr. Baugh attended law school at U.C. Berkeley, School of Law and earned a Certificate in Law & Technology.Mr. Baugh is currently an adjunct professor at Santa Clara University School of Law, where he lectures on patent law and patent prosecution. Mr. Baugh has also been named a “Northern California Super Lawyer” in Law & Politics. Mr. Baugh also serves as a member of the Planning Committee for the Advanced Patent Law Institute, which is sponsored by Stanford, UC Berkeley, & the University of Texas School of Law.Mr. Baugh also volunteers at Cystic Fibrosis Research, Inc. (CFRI), a nonprofit organization dedicated to funding cystic fibrosis research and to providing educational support programs. Mr. Baugh has served in various capacities at CFRI, including as Vice President of the Board of Directors and as a member of the Research Advisory Committee.
