I started my professional career in 1998, as a teenager working for over a decade in my father’s True Value Hardware stores. I started by learning the ropes as a cashier, slowly working my way up to General Manager across the stores.In this time, I became passionate about the business. I learned how to be a loyal representative of my company, while working hard to always provide a dedicated and knowledgeable service to all of our customers. After a decade working for my father, I had successfully taken over my father’s rental business, a subsidiary to his hardware store. By 2007, I had already started my first venture, “Equipment and Event Rental”, renaming and re-branding the existing business after I had passionately run as my own, using everything I had learned to grow it into a successful venture in its own right. By 2012, I was ready to make the next expansion in my own business, and opened up our Husqvarna dealership, selling machines, parts and servicing the company’s machines. By 2015, I became an authorized parts dealer and service center for Honda Small Engines and also authorized parts and engine dealer for Briggs and Stratton Small Engines and an operating service center. Outside of my professional dealerships, I have also worked hard to embrace the opportunities that the internet offers small American businessmen, becoming a Google AdWords specialist, SEO strategies and other IT fields, helping me to market my business to local people and grow even more.Above all my proudest professional achievements, my proudest overall achievement is becoming a father to my son in 2009—I can only hope to be as much as a role model to him as my father has been to me.
