I support districts, schools, programs and educational professionals in improving teaching, learning and social emotional/behavioral supports for ALL learners, bringing extensive experience, understanding and skills to my clients to facilitate and support program improvement efforts in districts, schools and classrooms. My focus is helping districts, schools and programs move beyond the traditional "train and hope" approach to developing sustainable systems change and continuous improvement processes, to create and support learning environments that better meet the needs of every learner. I regularly collaborate with state, district and school leadership, teachers and staff on systems and strategies to improve outcomes for students with academic and behavioral challenges and provide effective training, consultation and technical assistance based on the needs and goals of clients. I am also part of a network of highly skilled and experienced colleagues with a wide range of specific skills and training. If I can't meet a client's needs, I connect you to someone who can. My areas of expertise include: Multi-tiered Systems of Supports (MTSS), Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS), Differentiating Instruction, Universal Design of Learning, Program Review and Improvement Planning, Special Education, Effective Interventions and Supports for Students with Emotional and Behavior Disabilities & related needs and Co-teaching Models.

Provide training and consultation on Life Space Crisis Intervention (LSCI) to schools, districts, and specialized programs serving students with challenging behavior. Work with LSCI Institute to develop and pilot new materials as well as train and support new Senior Trainers.

Provide training, coaching and consultation to districts and schools in the areas of MTSS, PBIS, SEL and trauma informed, restorative approaches. Develop and implement online and virtual training opportunities.From August 2015- August 2017, as part of the Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction's Office of Student and School Success. I worked in close collaboration with leadership coaches, school and district leadership, as well as educators to support continuous improvement in state-identified Priority and Focus schools in the areas of Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) and Supporting Students with DisAbilities. Provided consultation and technical assistance on the implementation of schoolwide positive behavior interventions and supports, improving services and outcomes for students with disabilities, effective classroom and behavior management to schools and districts across the Pacific Northwest.
