With more than 8 years of experience in the AAA industry as a professional plus another 8 previous years as a modder/mapper (Specially for Source Engine), Enrique started his career as Game /Level Designer when he joined Pyro Studios in 2007 to work on a (later cancelled) game titled COPS.A year later he got a job at Yager Development, studio settled in Berlin, to work in a game called "Spec Ops: The Line", which was critically acclaimed as one of the most influencial but undervalued games from the seventh generation. Right after releasing "Spec Ops: The Line", Yager Development started working on a sequel for Dead Island, one of the most succesful IPs from the same generation until differences on the game's vision arised between developer and publisher, which led to Dead Island 2's cancellation by Deep Silver. Enrique kept working at Yager Development for another extra 6 months on prototypes and pitches before, finally, quitting and moving back to Spain in 2016. A few months later, in 2017, he joined a local indie studio in Seville named The Game Kitchen to work on what later became one of the most succesful Spanish indie games in the recent years: Blasphemous.
