He is a cross-functional leader having led start-up companies as CEO successfully driving strategic planning and capital formation, established cGMP manufacturing facilities in Europe, planned and executed multiple public listings and offerings, and successfully driven global licensing efforts for portfolios of drug candidates, approved products and proprietary technology platforms. Baxter started his career at Insmed (INSM), where he managed project teams of preclinical programs, led investor and public relations, and helped launch and commercialize a novel biologic agent.
