As a Medical Coder at King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz University Hospital, I apply my expertise in ICD-10 coding to accurately and efficiently code and document medical records for various specialties and procedures. I work with a team of coders and medical staff to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations, and to resolve any coding-related issues or queries.Prior to joining KAAUH in March 2024, I was a Medical Reconciliation Officer at SAICO Insurance for more than a year, where I processed claims and payments using my medical billing and coding skills. I also improved the medical reconciliation process by preparing clearances and communicating with medical providers to settle the batches accordingly. I hold a Clinical Coding Technician certification from SCFHS and an IFCE certification from The Financial Academy, which demonstrate my knowledge and competence in the field of medical coding and insurance.In addition to my coding skills, I have a Bachelor's degree in Language Interpretation and Translation from PNU, which enables me to communicate effectively with diverse clients and stakeholders in English and Arabic. I am passionate about improving healthcare outcomes and delivering excellent customer service through my medical coding expertise and translation skills. I am always eager to learn new skills and technologies to enhance my professional development and performance.
