Assisted in drafting the national strategy for MIL in Jordan and successfully advocated for its adoption within government, especially the Ministry of Education, after completing pilot program in schools and universities. Consulted for BBC’s MEDMEDIA and NET-MED Youth Program to encourage Arab public service broadcasters to work with NGOs to support production of programs by youth and for youth. Show less

Restored public confidence in the public service institution, by ensuring fair coverage of issues that concern the public and representation of individuals, groups and political parties in the Kingdom. Began the process of securing more funds to improve working conditions and skills of the staff, as well as to upgrade the technical abilities of the institution to correspond to international standards.

Headed the news team charged with JTV’s 24-hour live coverage of Jordan’s parliamentary elections.
