I am an energetic and highly professional executive. I have founded 2 tech companies in the past 4 years and have 20 years telco experience in technical roles, culminating with Airtel Africa Group-CTO (managing operations in 18 countries) for 3 years. As Airtel Africa Group-CTO, I led a program to dramatically improve network quality by addressing underlying technology and operations weaknesses, resulting in achievement of sustained #1 quality ranking in most operating markets. In 2016 and 2018 I co-founded startups, Spark Possibilities and Jaza Tanki, in the solar and water spaces respectively - both businesses operate with pay-as-you-go charging. Spark Possibilities has grown to almost $2M in revenue pipeline and is currently engaged with external investors to fund business expansion, while Jaza Tanki is still an early stage venture. Additionally, in this period since 2016, I have also operated as a specialist telecom consultant on a part-time basis.I bring an open and structured approach to work and have a good balance of soft and hard skills that I use to create an environment that maximizes the potential of the team.
