Experienced COT with a strong history of patient access to pharmaceuticals. Skilled in problem resolution and pharmacology with a emphasis in ophthalmics. I’ve also been involved in new product launches and have had success with insurance coverage with new medications.I have dealt with rare disease and orphan medications as well as non-FDA approved delivery of chemotherapy. I have achieved insurance coverage for these non-conventual treatments. I am dedicated to helping patients find access to their medications that are needed; if not through insurance then with assistance programs.I was apart of the pilot clinic for EMR/EHR. I’m an Epic super-user in Ophthalmology and well versed in clinical, scheduling and surgical applications within Epic. I assisted in the launch in telemedicine for my department and have been successful with video visits through the Epic platform. I’m fascinated with ambient clinical intelligence and how it will improve healthcare in the future.
