Built out systems and brought process to stabilize operations. Gershman Commercial Equities is a St. Louis real estate investment company established in 2015 to acquire investment properties throughout the St. Louis metropolitan area, primarily on behalf of the Gershman family, private syndicated investors and institutional partners.My primary responsibilities include the underwriting, analysis and due diligence of investment properties, as well as the sourcing of investment opportunities in the marketplace.

I worked directly with Tom Walker to assist in executing new leases and renewals for a large grocery-anchored shopping center in Cottleville, MO. I also helped underwrite and market ground sales for the purpose of commercial development. My time at Retail Realty Group functioned as an intensive mentorship and training platform whereby I was able to learn the business from a veteran in an accelerated time frame. Tom continues to serve as an ally and a mentor.

Acmdate (pronounced accommodate) was an online music education platform. Remotely led a highly effective team of web developers and designers. Took Acmdate from concept to revenue in 6 months.

During my time there, I assisted the leadership in the disposition of a special-use commercial property in East Downtown (EDO). This complicated disposition involved the expansion of super highway I-45 resulting in a state buyout. Along with a team of highly qualified lawyers, commercial real estate professionals, and executives, we negotiated the 10-figure sale which closed in 2017. This multi-year process was the foundation for my love (bordering obsession) for the commercial real estate industry.

Founded Tripty, a software based employee benefit for the purpose of travel.Generated successful meetings with decision makers at dozens of start-ups and corporations.Worked directly with developers to establish an MVP and outlined a seed stage of funding."Nothing builds company culture like culture itself. Reported directly to SVP Scott Leese (scaled Main Street Hub from 10 reps to 110+). Successfully sold social media and email marketing on autopilot to SMBs. Shook Scott Leese's hand and left in good standing to pursue my own venture, Tripty.

Worked directly under principal of the firm, Chris Jacob CFP®. Successfully sold life insurance, annuities and other financial products. New Perspective Financial (now Cadeau) occupies a unique sector of the financial services industry in that they help people identify money that they are losing unknowingly and unnecessarily.

My greatest accomplishment at the Wine & Cheese Place was up-selling a St. Louis Rams lineman from a bottle of Johnnie Walker Blue Label ($125) to a bottle of 25-year Macallen (>$1,000). My primary responsibility was to be as knowledgeable as possible in a vast array of products ranging from wine, beer, and spirits, all the way to high end cheeses and prepared foods. Secondarily I managed the packing, shipping, and logistics of dozens of special orders through our internet sales division.

Write, record, and produce the music of Tidewater along with producer Kevin Gales (Dixie Chicks, Sarah MacLachlan, Kid Rock). Tidewater has been on multiple North American tours with bands such as: The Rocket Summer, Royal Teeth, Joe Brooks, Rookie of the Year, Sparks the Rescue, Jimmie Deeghan (of Florida Georgia Line, Robbie Seay Band, and Derek Webb. Tidewater has landed as high as 4 on the iTunes singer/songwriter chart.
