In the regional and global level, the emerging and re-emerging diseases including swine diseases (CSF, ASF, PRRS, and others), tick born diseases, and zoonotic diseases caused by viral infection are highly conservable diseases in animals and human. My duties in Department of Transboundary animal viral diseases diagnosis and surveillance at State Central Veterinary Laboratory is that to improve better diagnostic system in the national reference veterinary and to implement efficient control measures against theses diseases as remarked as transboundary animal viral diseases.

The PhD study was conducted to the control of transboundary viral diseases especially influenza and classical swine fever. From the study, I could improved my experience with the epidemiology and virological investigations by molecular genetic analysis and virological techniques from laboratory basic assay to advanced experiments such as evaluation of virus, vaccine production, and animal experiment in BSL-3 laboratory.

My main duties in Department of Transboundary animal viral diseases diagnosis and surveillance at SCVL is that diagnosis of viral diseases such as swine diseases (PRRS, CSF and other), Emerging and re-emerging infectious diseases (Tick-borne encephalitis, Bluetongue, OPA, Maedi-Visna, Orf and Pox virus) and others (RHD and West-Nile) by methods of ELISA (Ab and Ag), AGID test, PCR, RT-PCR and qPRC. Moreover, I have the experiences which are DNA sequencing and bioinformatics for analysis and comparison of diagnosed DNA fragments with Genbank data base. And certain surveillance works about emerging and re-emerging infectious diseases, and zoonosis diseases have been done by our team, who were team up that State Central Veterinary Laboratory; Institute of Veterinary Medicine, National Center for Zoonotic diseases; local veterinary laboratories of Mongolia and others professional agency and organizations.
