Worked on finding a solution to perform Nitrogen recovery from Kaumera systems using membrane mass transfer systems. The process was modelled on MATLAB to identify crucial parameters affecting the transfer and sensitivity analysis of the parameters was performed.

Floral extracts of Hibiscus contained high polyphenol concentrations as observed under FTR analysis. These compounds act as reducing and capping agents in the generation of metal sulphide nanoparticles. I worked on a project, synthesising Nanoparticles using hibiscus extract and characterising the particles' size, cytotoxic and biocidal properties. The results of the same have been published in Current Pharmaceutical Biotechnology (DOI:10.2174/1389201021666200101111643).

Undertook training in wet-lab approaches to improve my skillset. Trained in bacterial cells and mammalian cell culturing, Nucleic acid and protein extraction, protein purification & characterisation techniques (ELISA, Western Blot, PAGE) and chromatography (ion exchange, size exclusion, affinity chromatography) techniques.
