I am actively involved in mentoring and coaching schools across the western US through the accreditation process. I work with the principal and leadership team as they prepare their self-study including their action plan. and during the three day visit lead a team of educators as we reflect on the teaching and learning celebrating the strengths and providing insights into next steps.The focus is always on supporting student learning and clarity of the school vision around the process for school improvement.

As a curriculum leader providing support, professional development, and coaching within the community is the best way to serve our students and their families.In addition to regular responsibilities I have: Promoted teacher and student agency Established PLC’s and repurposed faculty meetings to focus on curriculum development and professional learning. Envisioned and established a weekly Makerspace program for grade TK to 8 Facilitated the development of an Engineering program for grades 7 - 8 Initiated BYOD program and expanded 1:1 program to include grades 3 - 8 Provided training and implemented mastery based grading across the curriculum and instituted the concept of Marzano proficiency scales in mathematics Facilitated more communication and conferencing with parents Developed a flexible schedule to incorporate specialty classes for Junior High Expanded Social Justice program and involved whole school community in “Walk Out of Poverty”

The mission of the Administrators' SIG is "to encourage school administrators at all levels (site, district, county, and state) to take an active role in planning, implementing, and evaluating the use of instructional technology in our schools." In addition to semi-annual meetings held in conjunction with the CUE Conferences we also support Lead3.0, a conference for administrators. Our listserv offers a network of several hundred administrators who provide support to one another. We also offer additional resources through a variety of formats, contribute an administrators perspective to OnCue, and work in concert with TICAL.We host an annual meeting at the CUE conference.
