While working at the front desk I did a second internship with the Banquet side of the hotel. I learned how to sell, plan, set up, and run multiple types of events that take place in a hotel. Most of them included meeting space, rooms, and food and beverage. For my internship project, I took lead on a small banquet for 30 people where I helped plan and excite a lunch in. This was all under the supervision of the Banquest and event service manager and a Banquet caption. Once my internship ended I have continued to help in this side of the hotel.

Here at Tumbling River Ranch, I was the main point of contact for guests in a 10 cabin all-inclusive Guest Ranch as I worked with all of them prior to arriving with reservations, transportation, food and beverage restrictions, and activity. Also during their week stay to plan the day-to-day activities and anything else they needed, as well as reviews from the guest after they departed. On top of the guest interactions, I worked with staff to get important information about each guest to them with a weekly report. I also handled operations of the gift shop on the property which included inventory, ordering, and day-to-day operations. Here I learned how to be organized, time management, the basics of Hospitality, and the moving parts of a Guest Ranch.
