In 2010 Brian led the DWG team of Engineers on the Third Floor West Rehabilitation Project at Roper Hospital. The project was completed with sustainable and energy conserving measures such as lighting occupancy sensors and energy recovery equipment that allow for substantial savings and led to the project being awarded the ACEC Engineering Excellence Award. Further in 2011, The Modular Operating Room at Roper Hospital was awarded an ACEC Engineering Excellence Award in the Category of Building Engineering Technologies. For this project Brian served as the DWG Project Manager over a multi-disciplined team of engineers and led the project through completion. DWG provided MEP design for the Modular Operating Room, utilizing forward thinking design opportunities that were tempered with established engineering techniques.
