Robert S. Bender, CPA, serves as a Partner in Aronson’s Tax Services Group. He joined the Firm in 1980 and has spent over 35 years in the industry. Bob earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from the City University of New York in 1974. Bob’s clients include medical and dental practices, law practices, wholesale distribution companies, and small and mid-sized businesses of many types. Bob specializes in accounting and taxation for higher net worth individuals and small and professional businesses, taxation strategies, and accounting systems. As an expert in the field, he has made various presentations to professional groups such as Merrill Lynch, Legg Mason, N.I.H. Hispanic Physicians Association, CitiBank, Provident Bank, and RE/MAX. Bob has also provided articles for Car & Truck Dealer Insider Newsletter and Outlook Magazine. With the help of others in his group, Bob also produces The Bender Report, an electronic business, financial and tax newsletter. Bob is an active member of AICPA, a member of Capital Area Network as well as Business Network International, and serves as a regional director on Revere Bank’s Montgomery County Board of Directors. He is also a past nominee of the “Small Business Advocate of the Year” award for Montgomery County. Bob is active in various community groups and serves on the Board of Directors of the Aronson Foundation and the Will Group Foundation, two organizations focused on helping Metro area youth.
