As the Chief Operating Officer at MemberClose, LLC, I was responsible for overseeing the organization's day-to-day operational and sales functions. My role involved implementing efficient service systems and processes, driving operational excellence, and ensuring alignment with strategic business goals. I worked closely with other executive team members to shape and execute company strategies, manage resources, and foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. Key responsibilities included leading operational teams, optimizing partner performance, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations, particularly within the mortgage sector.

Primary focus is to grow the Agency’s MemberClose® program. MemberClose is a web-based bundled services program used by 200 credit unions located in 20 states to streamline their home equity lending operations.

• Recognized with 2013 “Rising Star” award from the Credit Union Association of RI and 2013 “Navigant Community Volunteer of the Year” for professionalism and community involvement• Represent branch operations perspective on the Talent Retention Committee devised to preempt anticipated labor shortages as the job market continues to improve. Committee includes COO, VP HR, AVP HR, and an outside consultant

• Executed and managed the opening of largest Nations Heritage branch including selection, training, orientation, development and management of all branch operations personnel• Attained $6M in deposits, exceeding branch deposit goal of $2.8M, by executing a community relations initiative with the Tri-Town Chamber of Commerce and the Rotary Club of Mansfield

• Awarded Territory of the Year in recognition of finishing #1 of 7 regions in total revenue 2001, 2002, 2004 working autonomously from a remote office that required travel to clients meetings, conferences and industry events• Implemented and conducted training programs with 20 partnering credit unions to increase property/casualty sales, improving penetration from 75% to 95% within first year in the new territory• Exceeded “MemberConnect” (Property/Casualty, AD & D, Term Life Insurance) goal by 200% by leveraging newly enhanced partnership with Liberty Mutual to target customers without similarly strong affinities or agency partners• Selected as one (of three) “Executives on the Move” by Credit Union Magazine in acknowledgement of excellent work performance and superior academic progress in CUNA’s graduate management program
