I am currently working on completing my PharmD/MBA at the University at Buffalo. I am a highly motivated P3 student, currently working in Utilization Management at Univera Healthcare. I am interested in managed care pharmacy after graduation. I was a previous pharmacy technician at Rite Aid Pharmacy, where I learned to provide direct and individualized patient care. I take interest in the in field of managed care. I am particularly drawn to this field because it is very diverse and it has many processes in place to enhance member and population health outcomes. I very committed to helping people and improving patient care. I believe that my interest in this field will help me do what I am determined to do for my community.This interest in managed care led me to pursue a MBA, to help me be prepared to handle administrative and leadership tasks in the pharmacy setting. Overall, I want to better myself and improve my soft skills to help me become a successful pharmacist in the near future.
