In this self-initiated position, I contacted executives, collected and evaluated information about prospective client companies, and, in collaboration with the resident advisor in Ankara, reported developments to the headquarters in the USA. Assisted the department manager in coordinating import procedures among exporters, banks, forwarders, insurance companies, and customs authorities. Imported goods, mostly under incentive measures, ranged from large business machines to various building and decoration materials necessary for the construction of a luxury hotel.During the final year, served as the department manager and was responsible for all foreign trade activities within the group of companies, which were valued at $2 million at that time.

Attended two full weeks of training on general banking applications.Assigned to the Ankara Regional Office.On behalf of corporate clients, performed necessary procedures for the realization of their import-export businesses. Job responsibilities included charging legal costs, commissions, and taxes, and communicating with agent banks abroad for letters of credit and other transactions.
