Main Responsibilities:• Management of the existing Aftermarket rail gearbox customer base within UK & Europe• Manage the regular office based order input and quotation effort to meet with customer deadlines. Significant time spent visiting and developing relationships with existing customer base• Developed new business opportunities within the Rail sector by study of the market, competitors and verifying customers needs with respect to the product lines offered by the company• Responsible for managing the Aftermarket Rail budget and liaising with external customers to ensure the quality & on time delivery of product in order to meet expectations• Ensured contracts & spares delivery by efficient project management to ensure business throughput & customer satisfaction• Actively increased rail order input throughout the period of employmentAchievements:• Represented the business on international customer visits to evaluate existing contracts and ensure timely supply of quality products• Received excellent customer relations feedback• Seven new customers generated over the preceeding 12 month period such as DB Schenker, Pullman Rail, Bombardier UK, Porterbrook Leasing & Angel Trains• Order input target surpassed by £1.5m from original budget of £2.8m
