Bjorn started as an engineer in 1978 designing heating equipment for land based industry as well as for the Oil and Gas industry. He continued his education at NHH in Bergen (Business administration and economics) and focused more on administrative tasks, sales and marketing. He has a strong entrepreneurial personality and have managed foreign companies activities in Norway and Norwegian companies abroad. Returned to Norway autumn 2007 after 3 years in Brussels and started in the Subsea industry. The last 6 years focus areas have been business development, marketing & sales, and market communication in Europe, GOM, Africa and Far East. Clients have been Statoil, BP, Shell, ExxonMobil, Total, Edison, Eni, EMAS, Lundin Norway, Marathon Oil, Talisman, Wintershall, Technip, BW Offshore, Siem Offshore, Maersk Oil & Gas, and Dong Energy, among others. Bjorn was a important player when SubseaPartner AS was established through a management buy-out from Fugro Rue AS.
