Senior Applications ArchitectTrakus Aug 2001 - Mar 2003· Developed Broadband XML enabled Flash application called the "GameViewer" that displays Trakus real-time information. Users can view all player positions, puck possessions, speed, and game information in a highly interactive way that allows users not only watch the game live over the Internet but interact with each other in chat rooms, answer trivia questions and participate in cyber polls. While the GameViewer is fully interactive, a producer can control the "GameViewer" features though a web interface. · Developed a wireless Internet site that serves Trakus hockey information. This site uses an ASP/SQL backend to create WML pages with real-time player and game statistics, as well as a full archive of all season statistics.· Developed company product architecture for all multimedia and end user applications. This architecture was used to determine what functionality was needed to create fully commercialized products for each media platform.

Principal Software EngineerTrakus Sep 1999 - Aug 2001· Designed and implemented a WinCE user application for the Trakus Golf System. This application captured information related to a golf player's shot, and read laser information from a serial port. The application translates the laser coordinate information into a graphical display; this display allows users to make a visual verification of where the ball is on the golf hole. The application communicated with the application server using the standard Trakus API.· Developed a web site that provided the statistics captured from the Trakus Golf System. Using an ASP/SQL backend, users could examine information by player, round or hole. Each page contained a Java application that allowed users to see pertinent information, such as ball position, shot length and club selection.· Participated in demonstrations to potential customers, business partners, and potential investors. Primary role in these demonstrations was to show and explain all end user applications.

Senior Software EngineerTrakus Feb 1998 - Sep 1999· Designed and implemented a System Control Application using DCOM to manage various events, and control parameters of remote applications. The user interface for the application was hosted in MMC to allow quick development and the ability to integrate 3rd party application management packages.· Designed and implemented a Television Graphics Application to take real-time information from the Trakus system and turn it into a graphic that can be displayed on television. Using well-defined COM interfaces, the application was modular and allowed new components to be simply "dropped in" without changing the core of the application. This created greater stability, which was necessary for a mission-critical application responsible for live-to-air graphics, while allowing the flexibility for last minute functionality changes desired by television producers for program enhancement.
