This was manufacturing ERP software targeted at discrete manufacturers in the mid-market, or divisions of larger companies. I was in the management team that built up and then took the company public. I was responsible for client relationships in the Midwest, United States which represented 20% of our customers and revenue worldwide. MAPICS had an extremely strong channel business model. Mike Sorensen and Paul Andrees were excellent leaders and mentors, and I owe them both a tremendous debt for what they taught me. Achievements included top performer of the division by the third year. Clients successes included Lear Siegler, Spencer Stuart and American Printing House for the Blind. -
