The Workshop and Repair Specialist (WRS) for NA & LATAM Operations is responsible for organizing the workshop and ensuring the functionality of tools and equipment. This role involves diagnosing and repairing issues with the Drone-in-a-Box system, including troubleshooting, component replacement, and system calibration. Additionally, the WRS will lead projects for system upgrades, prototype testing, and efficiency improvements, while maintaining detailed records and providing team support and training.

As a System Field Operator at Percepto, my role is crucial to ensuring the success of autonomous drone operations. I am responsible for conducting routine maintenance, performing pre-flight checks, and troubleshooting any technical issues that may arise during drone operation. Additionally, I am responsible for repairing any faults that may occur, maintaining accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities, and collaborating with other team members to develop and improve maintenance procedures.My technical background in drone systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and attention to detail enable me to perform my responsibilities effectively. I work both independently and as part of a team, ensuring that the drones are always operating at the highest levels of safety and professionalism. Clear communication with other team members and clients is essential in this role.

Managed and analyzed sediment samples from Bear River using an optically stimulated luminescence sensitivity as a provenance tracer to pinpoint sampling origins while gaining experience in operating dark room laboratory equipment. Accepted as an undergraduate to produce poster presentations for Geologic Society of America and American Geophysical Union. Key Responsibilities: Sampling Analysis & Reporting: Utilized industry-best practices, Risø TL/OSL DA-20 readers, and Malvern Mastersizer 2000’s to examine sedimentary sample properties including water content, radioactive luminescence contribution, and grain size. Compiled and summarized findings to be utilized for drafting research report.

Provide photo and video services from DSLRs and unmanned aerial systems to fulfill project goals utilizing software packages from Adobe and Apple. Created promotional material for clients such as Team Prep USA and Seat Sack for commercial advertising. Created internal company material for informative and training uses for Team Prep USA. Created ongoing imagery for social media content for Fit2Run, J. Lane Construction, Team Prep USA. Photographed field work for academic researchers at Harvard (doi: 10.1111/ivb.12284)

Interdisciplinary internship position that varied daily. Digitalized hand-drawn schematics to CAD files, created CAD models of custom made equipment, assisted in maintenance of company built machinery, and rewired power distribution circuit for equipment. Verified and recorded outgoing shipments to clients. Work in both an active machining environment and in an office.
