The InterNational Center for Advanced Pharmacy Services (INCAPS) at Sullivan University College of Pharmacy is now known as the Center for Health & Wellness. Formerly we specialized in Medication Therapy Management, patient education, and immunizations. Today our focus has broadened to include multiple aspects of health and well-being. We offer programs for healthy living, smoking cessation, and chronic disease management for a variety of conditions. We are working to expand into medical care as well, to provide comprehensive care solutions to Sullivan University employees, staff, and students. I manage daily pharmacy operations, and I am responsible for the clinical pharmacists, pharmacy practice residents, and pharmacy students completing their advanced learning experiences. Additionally, I manage the tracking of the clinic's outcomes data, and I work with leaders in the community to manage and forge new interdisciplinary collaborations. I am a Board Certified Ambulatory Care Pharmacist (BCACP), a Fellow of the American Society of Consultant Pharmacists (FASCP), and a Licensed Diabetes Educator (LDE). I currently teach in the Doctor of Pharmacy program. I cover topics that include patient-centered care, medication therapy management, provider and patient communications, managed care pharmacy, and Medical Spanish.
