Ben Chenoweth is a hydrogeologist and Ohio EPA Certified Professional with over 15 years of consulting experience including work in both water supply and environmental compliance fields. He is currently serving as a Senior Project Consultant where his duties as a project manager include the design, budgeting, implementation and over site of environmental site investigations, assessments, and remediation in multiple states for various regulatory programs including Ohio VAP & BUSTR. He has conducted numerous on-site Phase I and Phase II investigations, vapor intrusion studies, UST investigation & removals, water supply assessments and is comfortable with a host of drilling techniques and sampling of multiple types of environmental media including soil vapor and indoor air. He has performed extensive field work for the collection of hydrogeologic and environmental data and conducted computer modeling of surface- and groundwater flow and contaminant fate and transport. Ben has been active in the installation of various remediation systems, including vapor intrusion mitigation by sub slab depressurization, bioremediation of groundwater, and LNAPL assessment and recovery. Ben has utilized the GIS platform for the integration and analysis of disparate data sets, allowing for greater understanding of geologic and hydrogeologic systems.
