A seasonal clerical position. I shipped and received almond meats, inshell, and hulls. I also made routine verification checks around the facility, ensuring all the paperwork and computer information matched and were accurate. I streamlined the filing as well as consolidated information into excel for easy reference, and collected and catalogued safety information on the products used onsite.

A seasonal position in which I am the first line of interaction with our customers and vendors.My duties include: accepting deliveries, making and receiving business calls, scheduling work orders requested by customers, placing orders and making purchases, running errands off property, logging information into records, filing in triplicate, handling paperwork for hazardous materials and faxing the Notice of Intent (NOI) and Notice of Application (NOA) to the appropriate counties at the appropriate times.I am also expected to be able to find information on certain work orders at a moment's notice which requires adaptability and organization.

A Customer Service Supervisor is the first and last interaction a customer has. It was my duty to make their experience comfortable and instill in them a desire to return to us again.I was a significant part in associate interactions, from giving direction, accomodations, and listening to complaints, to acting as witness for official investigations or reprimands.My nightly duties included: Resetting used tills into our cash recycler so the accounting office had accurate sales records. Filling the registers necessary for the next day's sales. Retrieving and logging all loans and cash drops for each register under my supervision.I handled the phones, returns and check cashing, as Customer Service was closed during my scheduled shift. I made independant decisions regarding alcohol sales and theft deterrents.I held instructional meetings on properly utilizing our security items (ex. spider wrap, alligator tag, alcohol cap) and spotting fake money, checks, and IDs.I was required to calibrate all the scales used in the store weekly to ensure accuracy in pricing for our customers and associates.I was part of ensuring several different departments were properly stocked with new freight (i.e. Pharmacy, Seasonal, Health and Beauty, Impulse). Whatever freight could not be put out was properly labeled and stored in the back room. When there was broken merchandise or equipment, I would handle and dispose of it safely according to strict procedures to ensure proper credit and avoid injuries.I took it upon myself to learn and manage departments that would normally be closed during my shift; i.e. Fitting Rooms, Jewelry Counter sales, mixing paint in Hardware, Sporting Goods so I could sell licenses and tags.My managers would also ask me to do things no one else had time for, like making displays or signage, or checking certain departments for cleanliness and proper cold storage.
