I have over 30 years experience working in the employee benefit and human resource field. A recognized expert and national speaker on employee benefits, I have been involved in development and implementation of training programs for other benefit, sales and HR professionals. As a former President of NAPBA and a founding board member I helped other benefit professionals succeed with their businesses. While a member of ECFC, I was also involved with organizing the annual CPAC conventions for a number of years, assisted in development of their national training program, contributed to their national newsletter and was a presenter at many of their conventions. While at Washington National Insurance Company, My in-depth understanding of not only the regulatory environment but also the way insurance companies operate has given me a unique position to help others who struggle with administering employee benefits as well as meeting the regulatory requirements required in their businesses. I am currently the owner of BCL Systems, Inc. which has provided administrative support and training to small to mid-sized employers. Many of our clients have been with us for over 15 years and appreciate our customized and personalized help with their compliance needs.As a small business owner, I also understand the complexities faced with handling the human resource function as well as all other aspects of running a business. As an owner I understand what other small businesses need to help them succeed and am willing to share my own learning experiences.I love writing, teaching and meeting new people.
