I've worked on several systems and applications in a Linux-based environment requiring highly scalable and reliable systems. I spent four years on the Personalization and Discovery team working on customer-facing and infrastructural systems and services that had to operate at very high scale. Projects I worked on include Similarities, Favorites, a personalization email system, and several infrastructional projects used by personalization services at Amazon. The rest of my time at Amazon I spent working on Vendor-facing systems--much smaller scales, but exposure to a completely different side of the business. I have Experience with Oracle, MySQL, service-based distributed architecture, linux development.

Assisted in a wide range of programming projects, including (but not limited to) high level GUI design/maintenance on several software products, as well as low-level firmware and other user interface programming tasks for a hand-held piece of test equipment.

Back-end database creation, migration, and maintenance in Lotus Notes and Domino. Member of the intranet team, responsible for bootstrapping a new user account (single sign-on) system into production over the course of several months. Responsible for the creation and maintenance of several back-end C++ programs that interfaced the Lotus Notes and Windows NT network user account APIs to manage Lexmark user accounts.
