The Emerging Tech practice focus on emerging digital technologies, and their market development. Including: AI, Blockchain, Robotics, Edge Computing, AR/VR, etc. We produce market reports and provide consultancy services. I'm also (still) in charge of the involvement of IDATE in collaborative research projects (Horizon 2020 European Projects).

I work as a senior consultant at IDATE, which involves producing market study reports on innovative ICT trends and participating to consulting missions providing targeted insight for our customers. I'm also in charge of developing R&D partnerships at IDATE, especially around collaborative research projects (H2020 programme).

SimplySim (a company I cofounded in April 2008, now part of the Optis Group) is offering product and services around real time 3D technologies. SimplySim SAS was created in April 2008 in Sophia Antipolis (France). The company goal is to create the software that will enable any software developer to easily use real time 3D technology in his applications. SimplySim is developing the SimplyCube, which is both a simulation engine and a set of 3D editors. Based on this product we developed solutions in 3D real time simulation, virtual reality, serious games and visualization. In April 2011 SimplySim was integrated into the Optis Group. As the COO: I participated to the company strategy : from definition of business model, presentation of the company to investors, up to buy-out negociations. I gathered public fundings, partnerships and support that were key to the development of the company : Concours Jeunes Pousses, Incubateur PACA Est, Concours National du Ministère de la Recherche, Oséo, Réseau Entreprendre PACA...I worked on international sales contacts, with demanding customers such as Microsoft Corp or Orange Labs Japan. My work covered the full customer relationship : from the first early contact and signs of interest, to the definition of the customer needs in a specification, the closing negotiations, and the project follow up. I worked on the marketing strategy, product management, B2B partnerships (Microsoft France, Technology Clusters) and communication of the company (including participation to B2B tradeshows : Imagina, Laval Virtual, Eurosatory, Robobusiness, Microsoft PDC, TechED, TechDays).I participated to the management of the team (up to 10 people). I participated to the day to day administrative duty of the company.
