My career journey in the large format industry commenced in 1997, when I joined a supply company as a driver, catering to the needs of architects and engineers. This role was initially part-time while I pursued a collegiate football career. My aspirations originally leaned towards architecture, but I encountered academic challenges that steered me in a different direction, as it turned out, fortunately.An injury altered my course, prompting me to embrace the industry wholeheartedly. In a swift progression, I advanced from a driver to a warehouse manager, then transitioned into sales, and eventually assumed the role of a sales manager. This period was marked by collective dedication and hard work with my close-knit team, which included friends recruited along the way.Several years down the line, an opportunity arose to establish a branch in Scottsdale, Arizona. However, an unexpected shift in leadership dynamics led to the owner's dismissal, resulting in our return to California.Upon returning, I was presented with an intriguing opportunity by a prominent color supply company (formerly Sone Systems, now Lexjet). I took the leap to explore the burgeoning color market, coinciding with the emergence of the HP-2500CP. My innate fascination with the technology and its possibilities drove my rapid success. I devoted significant time to understanding the intricacies of these machines and their capabilities.I embarked on targeting major corporations, including industry giants such as Warner Brothers, Universal Studios, and Nike. In time, I became known as "Bigfish" in the industry, a moniker that symbolized my relentless pursuit of prominent companies and projects. This name resonated with me, partly due to my personal passion for fishing.Specialized areas of expertise include Latex, Solvent, and Inkjet applications, along with a focus on product development.
