Thrive on product and user experience innovation, entrepreneurship, assembling teams, and bringing new ventures to life. Sold first company to Broadcast.com in 1997 where the team became “Broadcast.com Interactive Group” and built several web products that became highly profitable parts of the business. In 1998, left to start Musicforce.com, an ecommerce music brand, focused on Christian music, which quickly became the online leader. Sold to Gaylord Entertainment. In 1999, started Stick Networks and led a team that invented and patented a handful of mobile technologies that just today are showing up in iPhone and Android devices. Through that process, had a chance to work with Patricia Roller (founder, CEO, Frog Design), shake hands with Steve Jobs, and pitch our product and platform to Phil Schiller—7 years before the iPhone was introduced.From 2000 through early 2020, was engaged as a founder, cofounder, advisor, managing director, and other leadership roles within several tech and advertising firms in Dallas. In 2020, with cofounder Powell Kinney, started AllOY, a recreational boat company with autonomous technology at the center. Raised initial pre-seed of $1m, and as of this writing, raising an additional $5m to bring the first prototype to market.Early 2024, with Brian Hamilton, started Frontlands. Our mission is to bring liquidity to the millions of mineral rights owners in the US. We created the Mineral Line of Credit™ and are now rolling it out across the country.Degree in film and media from Texas Christian University and lived abroad on and off between 2000 and 1993 - 2000, including Sydney, London, and Brussels. When not working, I prefer to be on a boat, a golf course, a tennis court, or exploring someplace new.
