My name is Bryan Coward, and I help companies by architecting and designing storage solutions that protect and optimize their data footprints. I have spent nearly two decades working with and serving as the administrator for a variety of storage systems for companies in a diverse range of industries. The future of IT storage is in flash and cloud systems. Throughout my career, I have helped the companies I’ve worked with embrace new technologies, and I believe in the power of communication and proactive leadership to make that happen. As a global systems engineer, I have mentored operations teams based around the world. In a previous role, I traveled to meet each of team and train them on new technologies. And although I wasn’t the team manager, I started weekly meetings to learn how I could better help them overcome roadblocks, which had a tremendous impact on our productivity. I am skilled at bringing people together to reach a common goal. If a project has run into obstacles, I know how to get it back on track while keeping all members of the team pulling in the same direction.I pride myself on being an IT professional who has built a career — not just held a series of jobs.
