Area of Responsibility: Demand Planning – predicting future demand for products and aligning production capabilities accordingly based on known constraints and external factors. Overall purpose of the job:Reporting to the Group Planning ManagerEnsure that based on the right historical data, reliable forecasts are developed. Manage demand and ensure that it is aligned with production, warehousing and distribution capacities. Key responsibilities-Create and update forecasts on SKU level as agreed for the use of planning-Manage co-operation between sales, marketing and planning department related to issues of sales forecasts-Analyse marketing plans, campaign information, trends etc. for making decisions to update forecasts-Collaborate with sales and marketing department on Sales Volume Budgeting-Plan and allocate production capacity to various packaging lines across the business-Oversee production planning and scheduling and maintain direct liaison with brew planning-Act as co-lead for the sales and operations planning process
