As WaterTAP's inaugural COO, I worked closely with the CEO and Board of Directors to ensure WaterTAP delivered on its strategic and operating plans. In just 6 months in the role, I improved business process in several areas of the organization, making significant positive impacts to finance, HR, culture, compliance, audit and client-facing programs. Due to the 2018 change in Ontario government, and to help secure the future funding position of the organization, I created the restructuring plan which recommended the position of Chief Operating Officer of WaterTAP be combined with the role of interim CEO in order to right-size the organization. Although my time with WaterTAP was brief, it was impactful and valued by the Board of Directors. My choice to restructure my role at WaterTAP is an example of how I put the needs of an organization first. Show less
