CurrentResponsible for the technical design, planning, implementation, and the highest level of performance tuning and recovery procedures for mission critical enterprise systems. Serves as a technical expert in the area of system administration for complex operating systems.Recommends the redesign and configuration of operating systems and system applications.Investigates and analyzes feasibility of system requirements and develops system specifications.Identifies methods, solutions, and provides project leadership and management in order to provide a high level of service to the customers of the department.Act as a first point of contact for phone calls and emails from staff regarding IT issues and queriesMonitor and respond quickly and effectively to trouble requestsDiagnose and repair server, desktop, mobile device issuesProvide help desk support and resolve problems to the end user’s satisfactionInstall, test and configure new servers, workstations, peripheral equipment and softwareManage PC setup and deployment for new employees using standard hardware, images and softwareModify configurations, utilities, software default settings, etc. for servers and workstationsPerform timely company hardware and software upgrades as requiredMaintain inventory of all equipment, software and software licensesCreate user accounts, reset passwords, create groups etc. within Active DirectoryOptimize process workflows throught the use of technologyKnowledge and understanding of network troubleshooting procedures and protocols
