I am a dedicated, detail-oriented research engineer interested in development of novel products and their manufacturing processes for commercialization. I excel in settings were I can utilize my skills to design and develop reliable products, processes, and solutions for high performance applications. I am trained in classical polymer synthesis and characterization techniques and have applied these skills in the industrial setting to produce novel polymers for biomedical implantable applications. In addition to polymer synthesis I have expertise in the production of various polymeric processing methods including melt spinning of fiber, additive manufacturing, wet spinning, and injection molding. During my doctoral studies and postdoctoral work I developed additive manufacturing processes to fabricate living tissues with cells in combination with naturally derived elastomeric hydrogels. Two patents are pending approval from this work. I am actively seeking opportunities to apply my skills in the industrial research environment.
