After a successful 3.5 years as an Account Manager, I took over the Account Management team. Myresponsibilities include the following:- Leading and developing the account management team. I currently have 2 direct reports with whom I have regular 1:1s to review their performance against the objectives I set for them. I am also responsible for hiring and onboarding new members of the team.- Building and managing relationships with our key clients. I oversee the leads generation (outsourced to a marketing agency), qualify and close new business opportunities. I also maintain the revenue model of the agency, forecasting sales at the beginning of each financial year and supervising revenue recognition every month.- Designing and implementing new processes. I initiated a company wide shift to a new CRM and introduced new ways of working (e.g. quarterly business reviews with all clients) to improve client satisfaction and revenue.
