At Te Puna Haumaru I have been working with researchers to identify research topics and to provide insights, connections, and collaborations, which are leading to funding of projects and ongoing collaborations with new partners. I manage existing relationships and have hard conversations when they are required to ensure that both parties can prosper and grow. At Research & Enterprise I look after two schools (Engineering and Computer Science) as well as providing support to two institutes and other parts of the university as required. I have a firm foundation of knowledge of the research activities across these schools and support the various activities and events. I provide connections and guidance for researchers on various aspects of research but in particular when engaging with MBIE or with Government agencies such as NZDF.
