Filled a necessary layer at Ivani between the engineering team and the executive team. Most of the engineering team directly reported to me and I was responsible for technical delivery of all projects at Ivani. My primary responsibilities were to set priorities, remove blockers, work on high-level design with teams, and help engineers contribute as much as they can.Once younger engineers were able to step into this managerial layer, I was able to step back to spending all of my time in the Principal Systems Engineer role.

A self-created role to address some system-level bottlenecks.My primary role was ensuring strong communication across functions, subsystems, etc.One facet was carrying out informal mini design/test plan reviews with engineers to serve as a sanity check and second set of eyes. Doing these also gave me a good understanding of the entire product which I distilled into block-level documentation that all groups could access. The documentation enabled a faster initial evaluation, which was important to a lead customer.Other tasks included:- Cross-representing functional groups in the meetings of other functional groups- Championing DFx where x is test, users, evaluation, etc- Defining interfaces between subsystems

Product Engineer in the High-Speed DAC group at ADI's Wilmington campus.Primarily, this entails early debug on prototype DACs and characterization of the DACs once they're stable. Beyond that, I evangelize automation (mostly in Python), push for process improvement (data visualization, processing and documentation), provide data for customer support, help with PCB design for evaluation boards and solve whatever interesting problems I can find (or can find me) on any given week.

Worked in the Collaborative Analog and Digital Signal Processing (CADSP) group under Dr. Paul Hasler. My work was mostly using the Field Programmable Analog Array (FPAA) that the group is currently producing. I tested out several oscillator and filter topologies using the available hardware and observed some relevant differences from theory.

Software development, circuit design and prototyping for x-ray flux meter

Derived governing equations for and modeled relevant DC-DC converter topologies. Then tested the circuit on a large scale and found a high enough energy conversion efficiency to support further investigation into a MEMS (micro-electro-mechanical systems) application.
