Supervised the electrical controls installation of the Siemens S7 / Profibus /ASI based Baggage Handling System. Utilising Copper and FO Profibus coupled with approximately 3000 ASI nodes;Reviewed supplied designs and consulted with Siemens Germany regarding potential installation problems, offering solutions prior and during installation as the need arose;Devised installation and hand over plans in conjunction with H&F Electrical and Siemens design and commissioning teams;Static commissioned installed system prior to handing over to Siemens commissioning team and assisted with dynamic commissioning;Supported and trained DAA maintenance staff as the terminal became operational.
