I am an experienced drug hunter specializing in early-stage drug discovery, bridging the disciplines of enzymology and cell biology. My background in chemistry and enzymology has equipped me to excel in identifying novel small molecules and collaborating with chemists to develop them into therapeutic medicines.My scientific career was inspired by the intriguing ability of biology to conduct complex chemistry at ambient conditions. Transitioning into industry from a focus on protein science, I quickly gained a reputation for being more than just the typical protein specialist. I have led initiatives in high-throughput screening, target validation and deconvolution, as well as biophysical and biochemical characterization, including structural biology techniques such as X-ray crystallography and NMR spectroscopy.I am dedicated to advancing drug discovery through teamwork, mentorship, and ongoing education.
