Honed networking skills with a succession of successful major projects, creating a plan to replace and rejuvenate Bardel's network infrastructure from the ground up. Performed a brand new Palo Alto firewall deployment, implemented a new cabling plant, and then architected and deployed a greenfield Mellanox network. This role allowed deep research and learning for the latest in industry standards and commonly deployed reference architectures. Additionally, participated and led Bardel's TPN audit, performing the audit interview and hardening all network systems to the TPN's rigorous standards.This resulted in a complete transformation of Bardel's network space starting day-one with an unreliable network viewed with suspicion by the production team, and ending with a smooth, performant environment well situated for growth with maximum flexibility fully trusted by all Bardel's business units.
